SkyView Posters
‘SkyView Posters’ an exciting range of images derived from digital aerial photography or satellite imagery. The posters, each measuring 841mm x 594mm (33” x 23”), are printed in full colour (note Historical Posters are in black and white) on sturdy 150gsm paper and laminated for further protection or presented in a choice of quality frames. The posters are supplied to retailers in clear plastic tubes and distributed by Outstanding UK who can also supply point of sale material. World Maps
Every effort has been made to ensure this stunning range of wall maps is the most up to date and accurate available. Dr. David Munro, Director of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and Chairman of the Permanent Committee of Geographical Names was brought in as Geographical Consultant to ensure the most recent name changes are incorporated. Digital hill shading created using the latest techniques provides a true impression of the earth's relief. By choosing the Miller Cylindrical Projection we have been able to avoid the extreme distortion associated with most maps. This attention to detail makes the maps particularly attractive in the classroom for World Maps Teaching. The Political map comes at 4 different scales, each map showing more detail and extra features at successively larger scales. A Pacific centred version is also available. Some 80 million spot heights have been incorporated into the shading to give an accurate yet beautiful representation of the World we inhabit. Names of all major physical features such as lakes, mountains, rivers, capes and bays are included.

UK Maps
Our growing range of maps covering the British Isles include a Political and Physical version at 1:1,000,000 as well as an A3 version of the political map covering the UK only. All 3 maps come with a laminated finish as standard (laminated is a thin plastic coating on one side, encapsulation is a thick plastic film on both sides).

Street Maps
Global Mapping’s partners, XYZ, produce CityMap Atlases of Edinburgh and Birmingham in full colour featuring all the information held within the CityMap data. Also available is the Nicolson Edinburgh CityMap folded map. The latest product in this series is the Glasgow Aerial Map - a folded, double-sided street map with a SkyView poster of the area on the reverse.
