Paper Globe, designed, produced and published in Brackley Wins Award

At this years International Map Trade Association (IMTA) annual event, held in Novara, Italy, Global Mapping won the Silver Award for 'Best Globe' with their Paper Globe.  This unique globe comes flat as two templates from which the globe has to be pressed out and then put together using a very clever system of interlocking tags.  The Globe  has proved popular with both children and parents due to their educational value and the fact that no scissors of glue is required! 

The globe is designed by top UK Designer, Brackley based David Bartlett who when told of the award said "Wow, that's fantastic news, I'll have to go and sit down!  That's really made my weekend, brilliant!"  Brackley Printers Rainbow Medias' Don Thomson whose advice was invaluable was delighted "This just goes to show what high quality products come out of Brackley, it's amazing how much talent there is in Brackley in all walks of life"
